CCC GROUPS
Whatever our background or experiences, all of us want to be loved. We all yearn for the taste of a safe and loving, grace-filled and truthful community. At CCC, we are committed to creating environments where such community can be experienced. We don't claim to have arrived. We don't claim that we are completely unique. However, most of us at CCC are not interested in the same song and dance at church. Some have tried what the world has to offer and want something different. Some have never before known of a body of believers where they felt safe and loved. Many are sick of church for a hundred different reasons. We hope we don't become one hundred and one. So let us tell you up front what we are after. We want real. We want an environment where a biblical worldview is openly discussed, processed and applied.
If such things whet your appetite, come and check out a Home Fellowship Group. The Home Fellowship Groups are home-based groups of 20-30 people who get together twice a month over a meal. It is often in such groups where friendships are formed. When people are involved in Home Fellowship Groups, many of them begin to experience what the body of Christ is supposed to be like. For those new to CCC, the Home Fellowship Groups are a great place to start getting connected. Check out the current Home Fellowship Groups for one near you.
Meeting on alternate weeks throughout the year are the Life Groups. Life Groups are small groups (6-15 people generally) with the purpose to discover, discuss, and apply a comprehensive biblical worldview to all areas of life. Life groups follow a semester schedule and take a break during the summer months. Most Life Groups meet in homes, with some exceptions such as the larger women's group or men's group. Life Groups are a great way to begin to take seriously what it means to be a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ. Check out the current Life Groups for one that may be of interest to you.
