Kevin has been pastoring at CCC for over 30 years. He and Janet have been married since 1980 and are blessed with four children and a growing number of grandchildren. Kevin has a graduate degree in Pastoral Ministry and an undergraduate degree in Theology. Kevin enjoys golf, the Denver Broncos, and the St. Louis Cardinals.

Priscila Hargett

Priscila and her husband, Jeremy, have been part of CCC since 2013. Originally from Brazil, Priscila moved to the United States at the age of 18. During that season, she briefly attended CCCYouth before leaving for college, unaware that God would lead her back to that church several years later. Today, Priscila spends much of her time homeschooling her two daughters and assisting with the many needs of CCC. She loves gardening, baking bread, and being with family and friends.

Children's Ministry Director

Laura Key

Laura joined the CCC staff in 2006. Her position began as a volunteer and evolved into a full-time Children’s Ministry Director as CCC's children’s department rapidly grew. As the Children’s Ministry Director, Laura manages weekend service classes, special events, VBS, day camps and mid-week services for infancy through 5th grade. She believes every child at CCC is unique; discovering the nature of each child while also training them spiritually is a pure joy for Laura.

Laura and her husband, Brett, have four children and nine grandchildren. Laura's parents also attend CCC. Laura finds having her family unified as they worship and serve Christ to be an incredible gift. Her hobbies include flea marketing, watching arthouse films, old and new, and spending time with her huge extended family who happen to all live in the same neighborhood!

Joel Butler

Joel has been a part of the body at CCC since 2004 when he and his wife Kris moved to Springfield from Kansas City. They have been blessed with five children, which they have sought to raise in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Joel has a degree in Electrical Engineering and works in the audio electronics industry. He loves studying & teaching the Bible at CCC and with his family at home. He enjoys fishing, kayaking, and restoring old vehicles.
